Naïla is an Arabic female given name, widespread in North Africa, especially among the Algerian tribes of Ouled Sidi Nail and Aurès.

The storytellers of yesteryear claimed about Naila (Nayla) and sabriaaf: that they were two human beings from Arabia, from the ante-Islamic era, were captured loving each other in the Kaaba. Thus defiling "the Kaaba" house of the gods, they metamorphosed into two stone statuses, only to be exposed to the Kaaba in front of people as a warning.

Over time, Naila etsabriaaf became Gods worshipped by the tribes of Arabia such as "Khozaa" and "Qurayche", among other Gods in the Kaaba, to whom offerings were presented.
