Viguen is a Persian-Armenian name, the origins of the word comes from a Sassanid dynasty's commander, Babak Khorramdin, whom had a legion of  "immortals" named Viguen. According to antiques belonged to Viguens discovered in Shiraz in Iran, their motto was: Respect, Honour, Loyalty. but in persian poems their motto was addressed as: Respect, Power, Wealth. which was is the correct one yet remains unknown. However in Persian literature viguen's meaning is "King's key, Gold". Some philosophers believed the "King's key" can be referenced to Viguen's motto: Respect, Honour, Loyalty or Respect, Power, Wealth.Important people named viguen are very rare, but the most famous one is Viguen Derderian, Iran's king of pop music.
