Belkys mean pretty girl. Bel- pretty Kys- girl The Queen of Sheba was named Bilqis (biblical spelling of Belkys). King Solomon was smitten by her beauty when she visited his court. He had reflecting floors and when she entered, he looked up her dress. She had very hairy legs. King Solomon had her legs shaved. Bilqis is responsible for modern day shaving of the legs. ☺️
