It is a common error to think Vahid(non arabic) and Waahid(arabic) are the same name & have same meaning just because they have phoenetic ressemblance, but in fact they are even not like one another, as the A in Vahid pronounce like "Alice" "Actor" Atmosphère" While the A in Waahid pronounce like in spanish "Alphonso" or Italian "Alberto" . Vahid and Waahid are as different as "Maid" and "Made" can be. Beside Vahid is a proper noun without specefic meaning, while Wahiid is common name.
