The name spelled Ardith was the name of a little town outside of Babalon. It was called paradise because of it's beauty. My mother was reading this story "Ardith" (and I have the book "ARDITH") in the Old Georgian news paper just befor I was born. all though this was not a girls name, she liked the name so much that she named me Ardith. However, when I started to school, my first grade teacher said that I couldn't spell a girls name with an "i" that I would have to change the "i" to a "y" and add an "e" making the name Ardyeth. This was a totally different name. I believe this may be where the name
