According to my cousin's research, Eilif of Sweden was our 21st great grandfather and was born in the north of England around 1000 A.D. and was(?) one of the Landlords that surrendered to William 1 after the Battle of Hastings, 1066 A.D. and thereafter served William as a Tenant-in-Chief. His decendants took the surname Heton which became Heaton. We consider Heaton Hall in Manchester to be our ancestral home. I am attempting to verify this info. Dr. Ossie, R. Heaton
