I stand to correct that the name lansana is not originating from France but actually west Africa popular among the madingo tribe usually given to twins bit other tribes Luke the Mendes of Sierra Leone, susu of Guinea also use it as both first and last name. This name is mimicking the grandsons of the prophet mohamed Alhussein and Alhassan who were twins therefore in the madingo tribe twins are preferably giving the name lansana and with the fulani and the temnne teibe they use alassab while the fulas prefer hassana or alassana.
