I am one of the 300 persons you speak of. That's AWESOME! I was born Oct. 19th and according to my mom, I was named Taide because my birthday was the day for Santa Taide. I've only encountered one other person named Taide and she is also born on Oct. 19th with same story. She's named after her grandmother who is born Oct. 19th as well. I would LOVE to know what Santa Taide Stood for. (St. Taide) Any information is greatly appreciated. Oh, in Finnish, TAIDE means art, as in "fine art". Works for me since I'm a fashion designer and I LOVE all forms of art.
